Mary has more than a decade of experience as a litigator in both state and federal courts, with a focus on medical malpractice and complex personal injury actions. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University at Buffalo in 2007, and her law degree from Albany Law School of Union University in 2010.
Mary began her career at a prominent mid-size law firm in New York City where she developed her litigation skills, concentrating in medical malpractice and other personal injury litigation. She managed and conducted all aspects of litigation, including extensive discovery, motion practice, depositions, expert conferences, and court proceedings. Mary then served as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York from 2015 through 2020. As an AUSA, Mary represented the United States, federal agencies, and employees in civil matters, including civil torts (namely medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and personal injury matters). She also supervised the Financial Litigation Unit where she was responsible for overseeing the enforcement and collection of restitution for victims of federal crimes. She has conducted hundreds of depositions and has extensive courtroom and mediation experience.
Whether her role is courtroom advocate, negotiator, or counselor, Mary brings years of experience, attention to detail, compassion, and a common sense approach to the clients she serves.
